Evde tasinma nedeniyle henuz TV ve home theater sistemlerimizi kuramadigimiz icin son zamanlarda hava soguk olmasina ragmen hic bir sey izlemiyorduk. Ipad alinca, biraz ozledigimizden birazda goruntu kalitesini merak ettigimiz icin uzun zaman once fragmanini gorup merak ettigimiz Sacha Baron Cohen komedisi, Diktator'u izledik.

Ne cesit espriler sevdiginize gore degisir aslinda ama genel anlamda sahsen bana hitap etti. Bazi esprileri fazla yavan, vicik vicik bulmama ragmen sonunu getirebilecek kadar guzeldi ama sinemaya gitmis olsam parama yazik olmus hissederdim.
Bu arada ben Recep Ivedik turevi tiplemelere tahammul dahi edemeyen, resmen tiksinen soguk mesafeli ablalardanim :) yani onu bilin ona gore okuyun yorurumlarimi.

Her neyse ne diyordum, ha para vermedigim Amazon prime'dan izledigim icin sorun etmedim.

Etrafimdaki bazi Amerikalilar ve IMDb sayfasindaki bazi yorumcular fazla "offensive"  yani saldirgan, hakaretaviz bulmuslar. Pek bir offend olmus tosunlar.

Hic cekemiyorum bu tipleri, bilhassa bu aralar asiri sinirime dokunuyorlar.

Neyse yani, demem o ki arada siyasi esprilerle falan Amerikalilara giydirse de (hatta tamda bu sebepten) izlemeye deger bir komedi.

Bir pazar gunu hava soguk, caniniz disari cikmak istemiyorsa alin cayinizi/kahvenizi, acin izleyin. Hatta dantel, orgu vs. de orebilirsiniz, zira konuyu takip etmek icin her dakika dikkatinizi vermenize gerek yok.

Oyle cerez gibi bir film. Arada lazim boylesi de ama degil mi?

 I am talking about the cold weather.
I am not dreaming of a tropical rain in Chicago's winter but it is too cold for November.

Bütün sinirlerim alt ust oldu. Zor ve gec uyuyorum. Sabahin korunde dikiliyorum. Dolayisiyla uykusuzluk beynime vurdu. Mecburi seyler haric dogru duzgun bir sey okuyamiyorum. Cunku hem canim istemiyor hemde kafam almiyor.

I hardly sleep at night and wake up early in the morning, although it is definitely not necessary.
It's totally destroyed my perception.
I can't even read. Because I don't feel like I want to read and even if I force myself, I don't understand what I read. 

Beyin hucrelerim dondu resmen!

Gunduzde bundan cok farkli degildi. O zamanda -11 falandi.

It wasn't so different during the day as well. It was about -11. 
Even colder than Finland. Seriously!

O havada sabahin korunde ciktim pilatese gittim. Soguktan öldüm. Agzım, gozum, her yerim yamuldu.

I had a pilates class in the morning. I walked down there and felt the cold in the rest of my body. I wasn't feeling my face and legs when I get back home.

Basta cok usudum keske gitmeseydim dedim ama simdi iyiki gitmisim gun boyu adam akilli yaptigim tek sey o oldu diyorum.

First, I wish I didn't go there but then I realize that it was the only thing I have really done all day long. Other than that I wasn't productive at all.

Gunduz pilatesten sonra cok hos bir kahvalti salonuna gittik (dona dona).

Donuste biraz isinmak icin uzandim. Uyumadim ama isinmam dakikalarimi aldi.

We went to a nice breakfast place (where I am planing to post about later some time) after pilates. I went to bed to warm up a little bit but it took long time for me to feel warmer. 

Sonra zaten soguk n'apicaz disarida havasina girdik. Evdeki isleri yaptik.

Then, we did some stuff at home which were actually important and necessary that we haven't worked on for a long time because of lack of time or just lazyness.

Ben biraz muzik dinledim. Ortaokul, lise yillarim Kral Tv'de cikan bunalim sarkilardan bir kolaj olmak uzere sinirlerimi daha da bozdular ama Istanbul manzaralari guzeldi.
Zaten sonradan farkettimki, klipleri izliyorum, sakiyi dinlemekten ziyade.
Dahasi dun hava yine cok soguktu. Istanbul manzalarinin oldugu bir diziye takildim. Kadin mutfakta asci ve 12 cm topuklularla calisiyor.
Super mantikli (!) ve  olasi (!)
Omrunde hic restoran mutfagi gormeyen insanlar cekiyor her halde diziyi.
Neyse ama dedigim gibi manzaralar guzel.

Home sick olucam yakinda (yada coktan oldumda itiraf etmeye dilim varmiyor).
Robby her zamanki gibi eve is getirmisti. Biraz calisti.

Artik oyle alistimki eve is getirmesine, hic kizmiyorum. Hayatimizin bir parcasi oldugunu kabullendim.

San  Francisco'daki sirket tekrar gorusmeye cagirdi. Tasinma ihtimalimiz daha da kuvvetlendi.

Bir yanim hic istemesede diger yanim bu soguktan kardan buzdan kurtulmak istiyor. Olucaksa kis gelmeden olsun lutfen.

By the time, we were done with our work at home, it was dark out. 
Sunset was at 4pm. Our day ended too quick. 

We were so hungry, we went to eat sushi. Just like every time we got bored of something.

We recently found Sakura Sushi and I think it is the best sushi bar in Chicago.

However, even awesome sushi couldn't make me feel good. :(

Ama o bile keyfimi tam olarak yerine getiremedi :(

Hatta kirmizi yesil Christmas isikli John Hancock ve Bloomingdale binasi manzarasi bile getiremedi.

John Hancock tower and Bloomingdale building view with a nice Christmas light on it couldn't make me feel good as well.

Yarin suburb'lerden birindeki buyuk mall'a gidip kendimizi kaybetmeyi planliyoruz.
 Aksi taktirde korkarim sogugu unutup, normal ve mutlu hayatima donmem mumkun olmayacak. 

Tomorrow we will go to the suburbs to hang out in a warm indoor mall.
We will help the economy a little bit :P
Otherwise, I won't forget this cold, gloomy days and get back my happy mood.

Unutun lutfen! Soylediklerimi aynen geri aliyorum.
Ayak bakim urunlerinden memnun kaldigim icin 1-2 gun once tekrar ugradim (ugramaz olaydim). Tuketime oyle cok katki yaptimki bir kac kere daha yapsam kucuk bir ulkenin ekonomisini kalkindiririm o derece. Kart ekstresinde toplu halde gozukmesin diye 2-3 ayri seferde ve farkli kartlardan cektirdim kasiyere, yoksa mazallah adamin kalbine inerdi.Neyse, o gun pek cok aldiklarimin arasinda bu duş jelleri de vardi. Ben hepsinden memnun kaldim. Bana gore hepsi ayri guzeldi. Robby greyfurtlu olan haric hepsini sevdi. Greyfurtlunun kokusu kullanilmis dizel motor yagina benziyormus. O koku neye benziyor bilmedigim icin fikir beyan edemeyecegim. Bana gore biraz sekerli bir meyva kokusu. Belki biraz agir ve yogun greyfurt kokusu diyebilirim. Sabahlari dus aldigimda kullanmayi seviyorum. Daha bir uyanik, daha bir dinamik hissettiriyor bana kendimi. Yine de denemeden almayin derim cunku degisik bir koku gercekten. Cok sevebileceginiz gibi nefrette edebilirsiniz.

Moringa harika bir cicek kokusu ama oyle bayim bayim bayacak kadar yogun degil, ayarinda. Cok ozgun bir kokusu yok. Daha once kullandigim pek cok cicek kokulu duş jeline benziyordu ama yine de bir tik otedeydi sanki. Insani sakinlestiren rahatlatan bir hali var. Cicek kokusu sevmeyenlerin bile sevecegini dusunuyorum.

Eger bu blogu tesadufen okumuyorsaniz, zeytin kokulu krem, sabun, duj jeli vs. buldugumda affetmeyip aldigimi biliyorsunuzdur. Bu seferde oyle oldu. Mis gibi yabanil ot kokuyor. Cayir cimen, dag bayir sevmem ama kokusunu severim. Ege'ye Akdeniz'e ne zaman tatile gitsek annemler yaylaya giderdi ve beni de zorla cikarirdi. Simdi olsa yine ariza cikaririm ama kokusunu doya doya icime cekerim. Yani ben bu dus jelini her turlu severim cunku benim icin o memleket kokuyor, tatil kokuyor.

Hepsinin yapisi (bana gore) ayni hemen hemen yogunlukta ve hepsi de  geride hos bir nemli his birakiyor. 750 ml'lik jumbo paketleri $15. TBS'deki tum diger urunler gibi bunlarda biraz fiyatli ve verdigim paranin karsiligini aldim mi bilemiyorum.

Bu aralar uyanik kalmaya ihtiyacim oldugu icin en cok onu kullandim. Bitince tekrar almayi dusunuyorum cunku piyasada buna benzer kokulu bir duj jeline pek rastlamadim. Digerlerini n'aparim bilemiyorum. Cosarsam alirim belki, bakalim...

Physicians Formula {natural smoky eyes} Kajal trio & NYX Butter Gloss {cream brulee} ~

Normalde makyajla alakali pek bir sey yazmadigimi hatta kullandigim makyaj malzemeleri ile alakali bile cok az yazdigimi farketmissinizdir. Bunun sebebi makyaj bloggerligini ciddiye almam ve kendimi bu konuda yetersiz, birazda tembel bulmam. Onlarca resim cekip iclerinden guzel olanlarini ayiklamak, saatlerce makyaj yapip fotograflamak hic bana gore degil. Ben bu gibi seyler icin fazla sabırsızım.
Gel gelelim, bu defa bir degişiklik yapip son zamanlarda hemen hemen her gun yaptigim ve esimin dostumun cok begendigi bir makyaji ve kullandigim urunleri paylasmak istiyorum.

Usually I am not a big fan of posting about make up. I have two reason not to post about make up
1)I take makeup blogging so serious and I believe that I should know more about this specific subject to write about it.
2)I am so lazy to take tons of photos and pick the right and most beautiful ones. It is a time consuming job and I don't want to spend my time with it.

However, this time I want to make a change and post about my everyday make up and products I use to make it. 

Hem artik elim alistigindan hem de kullandigim urunlerin hatalari affeden turden olmasindan rotuslar dahil 5 dakikada bu makyaji yapabiliyorum.

O yuzdende konturlemeyi unutmusum :)

Hatta alligi da unutmusum ama bu sene belli belirsiz allik moda zaten :p

Peki kaştakı yamukluk neyın nesi diye sormayin cunku HD kaşa başladim. Bu aralar yampiri yumpiri takilicam :)

Ayrica resimde hafif şaşı cikmisim ama normalde degilim. Insanin kendi fotografini cekmesi cok zor bir seymis meger. Gerci yillar once bir eski erkek arkadasimda sasi olup olmadigimi sormustu. Ustelik 30 saat suren uzun bir yolculuktan sonra havaalanina karsilamaya geldiginde. O zamanlar cok salakmisim, uzulmustum. Simdi olsa hoduk der gecerim, bir daha da yuzune bakmam. Neyse, neden eski oldugunu anlamissinizdir zaten. O yuzden burayi gecip, makyaja donuyorum.

It takes 5 minutes for me because I am so used to making it. Plus, it is so simple. :)

Uzun zamandir kajal denemek istiyordum, bir turlu kismet olmamisti. Physians Formula'nin indiriminde gorunce hemen aldim.
3 lu paketler halinde satiliyor ve 4-5 farkli cesidi var. Benimki natural smoky eye, yani dogal dumanli makyaj yapmak icin olani.

Renkler cok yogun, bazsiz kullanmama ragmen cok kalici, ama urban decay gibi cok cabuk sabitlenmiyor bu sayede istedigim gibi karistirabiliyor ve gun icerisinde daha acik gri dumanli kullandiktan sonra gece kucuk eklemelerde koyulastirarak hemen gece makyajina adapte edebiliyorum ve yok denecek kadar az akmayla gunu tamamlayabiliyorum.

Gozlerimin hassas oldugundan daha once bahsetmistim. Saatlerce gozumde kalmasina ragmen ne bir kasinti ne bir kizarma, hic bir sey olmuyor. Hatta varligini bile hissetmiyorum.

Yani ne diyebilirim ki, Physicians Formula beni yine yaniltmadi.  Indirimden $8' a aldim, normal fiyati $12. Verdigim paranin her kurusunu sonuna  kadar hakeden nadir urunlerden.

Tek kotu tarafi ambalaji sanirim. Cunku kapagini acarken kirilacak diye korkuyorum ama o kadar da olsun.

Bittiginde kesinlikle tekrar tekrar alacagim, ve farkli renklerini muhakkak deneyecegim.

It has been a long time I wanted to try kajals. They always look to me so easy and practical to apply. I just couldn't find the brand which seems to me good enough that I can use it on my very sensitive eyes without any concern.

They were in the trio pack.  I bought all of them for about $8 on sale (regular price was $12) so it was kind of a good deal.

It is pretty easy to blend them with the other colors because they don't set too quick like Urban Decay eye pencils. 

They don't smear or wear off and thankfully, don't irritate my eyes. Even though I don't use base to make them stay beautiful longer. Instead, I prefer to find the right products which stays long and nice without an eye shadow base.

I wore lighter grays during the day, then at night I retouch it with darker shades to create smoky eye look and I am ready for the night. 

The only bad thing about its packaging is it's kind of hard to open the lid.  I'm always afraid to break it when I open and close it. Because they are soft and creamy, there is no wood cover on them like the pencils. I can't think of any other kind of lid design but this one is making me nervous for sure.

I guess, needless to say but you can never go wrong with Physicians Formula. There was 4-5 different kinds of trios and I definitely want to try at least 2 of them and when I run out of it (if it ever happens), I will definitely repurchase them again.


Ben daha ziyade ruj insaniyim, o yuzden gloss'lara hep biraz mesafeliyimdir. Bu sefer nasil olduysa temptalia'nin gazina gelip aldim. Hemde ucer beser :) basta o kadar gloss'u napicam bilmiyorum desemde sonradan her gun kullanmaya basladigimi farkettim.

Yapisi cok guzel, asla yapis yapis degil, cok kuru dudagi bile (mesela benimki) nemli ve normal gosterebiliyor. Rengi cok dogal, icerisinde hic sim yok ve sanirim Cream Brulee'yi nude kategorisine koyabiliriz.

Birazcikta Kim Kardashian'in surekli kullandigi gloss'una benziyor sanki ne dersiniz?

I am definitely a lipstick person. Lip glosses I have tried so far was always too sticky, too shiny, too glittery etc. too much in many ways I don't like. So, I was pretty sure that it wasn't for me. 

Recently, I have read nice reviews of temptalia about NYX butter glosses and there was a sale going on Cherry Culture for NYX products around the same time. It made me feel like, it is time to give a chance to them. 

So far, I am happy with them although I though what am I going to do with these many lip glosses in the beginning.
 I used cream brulee on the photo. It is not so sticky and there are no glitters. It is nicely completing the smoky eyes with its natural nude color.

I think it looks like the one Kim Kardashian use all the time. What do you think, is it?

Lights~

Gecen gun yolda yururken bu agaclari gordum. Sanirim sehirde yasamanin en guzel taraflarindan biri karsina her an bir guzelligin cikabiliyor olmasi. Bu bazen bir sokak sanatcisi, bazen seyyar kitapci, bazende suslu bir agac oluyor.

Bu fotografi 2 hafta kadar once cektim. Simdi sokaklar cok daha suslu, noel hazirliklari tam gaz devam ediyor. Iyi de oluyor, baska turlu Chicago'da kış cekilmezdi zaten.

Haftasonu zoo lights'i izlemeye gidecegiz. Gecen sene cok guzeldi. Izlemek isterseniz vidyosu burada. Bu sene de oyle olmasini umuyorum. Bakalim, yarin gorecegiz.

I think, one of the best parts of living in Chicago is that every so often you can see something nice in random places. Sometimes it's a street artist, sometimes book seller on my way, or a tree with the lights on.

I took this picture about 2 weeks ago. Now, there are more lights on the trees. Christmas preparation already started and I like it. Otherwise, winter in Chicago would be even harder to deal with.

We are planning to go to Zoo Lights this weekend. Last year it was so beautiful.  If you like to watch, here is the link.
